The night before
School's out, work is on pause and the cottage industry is closed for Christmas. It's finally here after months of waiting and we're all beside ourselves with excitement.
The bags are packed (with space to spare thanks to Annette's frugal choice of clothes) and we have even managed to find room for Ellie much to Esther's relief.
We've got so many exciting new experiences ahead of us crammed into a 7 week trip. South East Asia here we come!

Morning of NY
... had enough and slammed the door. My response to this was to shout abuse, "I'm not gonna buy your album then!!!" I then stuck my fingers up at the little *****. The minibus stopped, and the now angry tits ran out and chased me followed by a bodyguard. As I ran down a back street, to my delight I saw a black Caribbean family who helped me into the house, unfortunately with difficulty trying to get over the baby gate. Then I woke. Liverpool.....Yeh, Yeh, Yeh
... music, so we enjoyed it all. Mind you, we weren’t committed enough to take a Beatles Bus tour, which takes you to places like their childhood homes, schools, Abbey Road, Eleanor Rigby’s grave (yes, she really existed), Strawberry Field (a park), etc.
So, if I had to summarize our stay in Liverpool, I’d say that it was good for us because, in a way, we felt like we were in our 20s all over again. And who wouldn’t like that?

Easy day =)
... the woods on one side, sand dunes on another with trees lining the whole of the walking areas. When we walked over the boardwalk, we finally got to the beach. At this point the rain had started to spit a little bit, but I didn't care. The beach is lovely, the sand looks perfect and the waves were banging.
