It feels like an age since I left Sheffield. Almost 2 weeks ago in total and there has been a lot packed in. A conference in Hong Kong, sightseeing, reunions with old friends and more travel to China. It's been a lot of travel - over 17,000km in total. Whilst that's not great for my personal carbon footprint, I hope to have helped my colleagues in Ningbo so that we ...

... get back on the cable car, as it was already 6:00 pm. The line was so long that there was a 70 minute wait! It was dark as we descended in the cable car and we had views of all the twinkling lights around the harbour and the planes landing and taking off.

Back on land we headed for the 'Avenue of the Stars' where all the fancy high-rise buildings on ...

Landed in Hong Kong airport for a 4 hour layover. Had some fun with some figurines and had a couple slices of Asian pizza, which we will not be having ever again - definitely not the same as our pizza. Next stop Bangkok where we land around midnight with no reservation for a place to stay but have faith it won't be hard to find something easily. Party night tonight? I think so. Hopefully we can get a nap in on this flight. Like the 13 hour flight from Vancouver to Hong Kong wasn't ...
