    ... when we had had enough of the palace and we finally paid the poor guy for his mornings work. He asked for 270yuan and we gave him 300 yuan. That is about $60 for entry fees and tour fees. If we had booked an actual tour from the hotel it was $50US per person. The subway cost us 16yuan for 4 people return.That's about $2.30 each. Ridiculous!
