    ... rooster mum bought me and a lucky chook I bought from Ireland so the cat will live with them. To get down from the mountain we hopped on the cable car. 25 minute ride 5.5k long.     Our big goal yesterday was to go to Victoria Peak, which is on the Hong Kong island side, one of the most suggested places to go in Hong Kong. We took the train over, no stopping for breakfast.     ... squeezed onto the tightly packed tram to travel a kilometre down the road. In hindsight it would have been quicker to walk, but I guess that's all part of the experience!

    Received an invite to attend a gift fair today at the Conrad Hotel Grand Ballroom.. be my only chance to be on that dance floor! Arrived early and was surprised at the expat community represented there...French wines, N.Z.juices, German Chocolates, Japanese handicrafts, Aussie jewellery...Lots of embroidered Xmas items, toys, accessories aplenty also... ...
