We stand and wait and the show eventually starts, and we widely pronounce it as underwhelming when it finishes 20 minutes later. The group splits further, and we say our goodbyes to a few of the others – some we’ve really liked, some we’ve come to actively dislike! The remainder of us decide to head back and try and find a bar locally, but there’s nothing nearby so ...

... last night but even so, flying is not good for my rage. Writing this entry from the plane as I'm waiting for it to leave Dubai and take me to Bangkok, followed by Hong Kong.
Dubai's pretty nice actually; it's actually quiet! Yeah, it's 2am but it's pretty busy and shops are open, but it's so calm you can even hear the water features over the nonexistent baby screams. It's fantastic!
