... on towards the end of the Catskills loop. I'm thinking it's some kind of ABS sensor issue. Brakes still work (and quite well). Also, the speedometer doesn't register for the first couple miles after restarting the bike.

    ... and sister-in-law? We enjoyed a few delightful hours eating breakfast on the porch, drawing, and chatting before it was time to make the final drive on to Plymouth to return our Bessie. Thanks Jer and Delise for welcoming us back to our home state and with wonderful hugs and enthusiasm. Thanks, too, to my brother Jeremy for being my most faithful blog follower.     ... a street in the town over called Troy, that looked pretty run down and had lots of people loitering on street corners. I could have been from an episode of 'Cops'. Bec was keen to keep moving at that point in time. But we ended up opposite the University in Albany, which looks to be a pretty good neighbourhood.

    So, I tried to pick up a lot of stuff for me and the kids at end of year clearance sales. Then, I would try it out during hiking, mostly at Beaver Lake Nature Center. I sought out a lot of "packable" items like rain jackets and pants which packed into their own pockets, along with day packs which could also fold up.
