... socialising and catching up with each other. The people we have spoken to are really friendly and have a good chat to you. The elderly ladies in the street usually give you a big smile and say 'Kalimera'.

We took the little red car and headed off South to look at some temple ruins and some of the beaches. Demeter's Temple ruins were from 500BC with an amazing backdrop of mountains.
We were the only people there and I think we only saw about ...

      Greece is the Word

... really hard. We then head along a dirt road to Agia Anna (Saint Anna) beach and spend the day at this gorgeous spot. Comfortable sun-lounges, beautiful water and plenty of tourists enjoying it all and we joined them. We then go to Agios Prekopios, which is also another stunning beach where we see heaps of windsurfers nearby out enjoying the windy conditions. These two beaches and Agios Giorgios, where we are staying, would be ...

      Beautiful Paros

Paros has been incredible! This may be the 'chilled' island but I have loved it. It is less touristy and gives you a good feel of the authentic Greek lifestyle. We arrived in around lunch and went for a stroll through the main town. It is so beautiful; cobbled streets filled with white and blue houses and shops. After exploring the town we headed to the beach for the rest of the day for some sunbathing, relaxing, swimming ...
