Our last day on Santorini and we awoke to another glorious day so it was hard to leave. After another delicious breakfast served to us by our gracious hosts we thought we'd better have one last walk to take in the views and walk off a little of our breakfast. Impossible to walk it all off. It was tortilla and some kind of pastry as well as grapes and cheese accompanied by the freshly squeezed orange juice and black brewed coffee. We had to be out of our room by ...

The gate is a huge stone structure which was said to have been built in 530bc when Apollo came from Delos to Naxos. Each of the three pieces of marble weigh 20 tones. It was a hot day so after walking around for about 1 hour we found ourselves in little Venice which was cute with white wash houses and colourful seats and doors we ...

... I would be collected by Stavros in half an hour. There was no apology from Stavros when he arrived, and he then told me I wouldn't be staying at the Young Inn which I had booked, but at Captain Dounas instead. It was a beautiful apartment complex however the attitude on Stavros me off and as a result I would not return. He worked the hotel manager, Anna, to the bone. Naoussa, whilst very beautiful and picturesque is very expensive and all the shops are boutiques, not ...

... daytime. Got back to the room and woke up around 1.

This was the only night I took out my camera. This was probably my best night but it's pretty much an average night in Ios. Also there's a lot of this night that is a haze. Luckily Matt is writing a book about his European travels and assured me there was quite a bit of "book-worthy" material from my shena****ns. I'll post about it when it's published.
