... to the bottom of the escarpment where I caught the tender boat to return to the Nieuw Amsterdam (our Cruise Ship). Had I not used the chair lift, I had two other options to descend to the base of the escarpment - either 600 steps zig zagging down the face, or riding a donkey down the same steps.
