Airport

A travel blog entry by bevbag on Jul 27, 2014

Flying out of the Gold Coast at 8.40am. Had a small breakfast at a local cafe. Then off to the airport. No drama with checking in with just my carry on luggage. Two lots of screening later and I hear my name being called. I'm making a bit of a habit of that. It's going to be a long day today. 8hr flight to Kuala Lumpur, 7 hr stopover, and then another flight to Calcutta. I should get I ...

Adios Australia!

Soon there was about 20 all eating toasted marshmallows and listen to an beats pill. Jess reckons she should get one. As the night moved we moved on to things stronger than marshmallows, soon after we retired to bed.... Satisfied!! Made provisions of getting up going for a surf then heading to Spring brook national park and the glow worm ...

It's a 'chasing the local wildlife' day!

... valleys on three different sides. And - because there were gum eucalyptus trees Rod finally spotted a Koala, nestled up high in a branch, checking us out.

Next, we headed to a settlement called Little Italy, and on the way had the next wildlife spotting - kangaroos hanging out in a farmer's field. Lots of them! So we spent several minutes watching them while they watched us. Eventually ...
