Due to airline weight restrictions we are only allowed 23kg of luggage each - have they never seen the amount of shoes & home comforts a girl needs for a month away from home??? Tony can make do with one pair of shorts, a t shirt & a change of underwear, but Debs - get real!!!
To make matters worse to take anything over the limit the airline want $50 a ...
... or I will no doubt be sick (again)!
I will add some photo's when I arrive on the isle of Tasmania, and I will write again once I am over the jet lag.

... out of his version) As far as I understand it, Doug had become a little bored in the establishment we were in and had decided to go for one of his usual drunken meanderings and somewhere along the way got a little lost, or perhaps just a little sidetracked. Maybe it was a pretty face or perhaps just a particularly inviting looking pub, whatever the case Dougie wound up, somewhere else and got in a few more drinks. Why texting the address to him failed to work we may never know, but the ...

Chester, England, United Kingdom edandali... respectable amount of time in pubs accross Ireland, Scotland and England I think that I'm able to understand quite normally people speaking english with an accent. But when this lady talked to us, it could well have been in chineese or hungarian, I didn't get a single word...

Liverpool, United Kingdom betuca... a visit to the Beatles museum, the Beatles being perhaps considered Liverpool's biggest call to fame. Inside can be found a great history of the group's formation and rise to stardom. It also hosts a collection of Beatles memorabilia - including John Lennon's famed white piano and gold glasses. Tomorrow morning I depart for London again and then on to see Bournemouth and Bath. It seems I escape just before ...
Liverpool, United Kingdom vanessa82I am now back home and just about recovered from the tiredness and the jet lag. Looking back, I don't feel like I had a holiday - I feel more like I had an 'experience' ha ha! but it was great - even though reading through some of the blog entires you might not have thought so, I had a really great time. Although at times it was hard going ie the early starts, the ...
Liverpool, United Kingdom junerJohn took me to Blackpool. He may have wanted to show me a UK beach resort. The street along the beach was full of decorations. I took a picture of his profile in the car. It was just a memory of Blackpool. We were on the way from Preston, where we met his old friend, and John talked about the word "love", because people there used "love" meaning "you" very often, when they talk to someone, like "Good morning, love!". That sounded awkward to him.
