They were very kind and offered to do it for just thirty quid there and then. So although I hadn't in my wildest thoughts imagined when I got up this morning I'd have a new tattoo but there you go! The mood in the early hours of October 12th was heavy and dark and depressing, with gloom actively pushing down through the buildings and sidewalks and running off into the gutters. We were on our way to the bus station in Manchester through the customary morning drizzle. It took about 30 minutes and for all that dimness we never stumbled once. We never got lost.
