I still haven't worked out what the beer swilling man with the pigs backside ( description from wikipedia) was doing on the choirstall, but it will have to remain one of life's little mysteries.
I liked Chester and enjoyed my day wandering around its unusual sights and beautiful ...

We also visited Aberconwy House, a 14th Century merchant's house, and spent some time walking along the quay and along the river. One of the buildings on the quay measures only 3.05m high by 1.8m wide and is the smallest house in Britain. There are 3 bridges across the river – a railway bridge, a modern road bridge and a suspension bridge built by Thomas Telford in 1826. Conwy is a very interesting ...

Sunday, my last night in the U.K was spent having a lovely home cooked meal, a beautiful roast dinner curtesy of mummy Davies :-D (pictures below) Some of the most perfectly cooked roast beef I've ever had! It was defiantly needed to give us energy to do all the packing, which in the end after putting my suitcase on a diet weighed 22.8Kg my allowance was 23Kg so I wasted 0.2Kg! Monday morning ...

... hopefully he will continue to be a lucky mascot at our game against Stoke this Saturday. Already had some thoughts about our next trip, perhaps China or Vietnam and Laos, but we are definitely having 2 weeks on the beach in Mexico in the New Year. No jet lag issues for me, in fact I've slept 9 hours each night since we got back, 5 more days of malaria tablets, thankfully no more Imodium needed.
