    We are in Penang, Malaysia now. Took the overnight train from Vientiane to bangkok. Had 6 hours in Bangkok and took another overnight train to Penang. It's a good train system. Quite comfy. We had convertable seats to bunk beds. Fun! It's kind of like being in a shared dorm on wheels ;)

    Thursday 12th June.. we woke early to begin our loooooong journey to Penang in a mini bus.
