          ... never spent time in the Wells Grey area. What a beautiful place to stay especially if you are interested in hiking. We hiked into see Spahats Falls and then further on to a view point of the river and valley. I think we tired the dogs out today. Again lots of tourists out and about, we meet folks from Liverpool, Shetland Islands and Australia. Great time for tourists with our dollar being so low they get more bang for their buck.

          ... as Niagra. We felt just as high too, even with no caffeine coffee stops. We are now in civilisation as you've received this, having spent the whole day travelling through old gold rush towns and Indian reservations with tipees and pow wow meeting points. The scenery changed to dusty dry rocky mountains where many seemed to be able to farm pumpkins, peppers and even wine. Maybe we'll try that later as Dutch courage for those going zip ...

          Today's drive was short and very sweet. I travelled from Valemount south on Highway 5 to Clearwater, just a couple of hundred kms away because I wanted to spend some time in Wells Gray Provincial Park.           ... Rockies gelegen ging es hier weitaus we***** touristisch zu. In der Dämmerung angekommen, haben wir hier auf den etwa 40km von der Hauptstraße hinein in die Tiefen des Parks Richtung Campingplatz, unsere ersten wilden Bären gesehen!!! 2 Bären mit je 2 Jungen und dann noch 3 weitere einzelne Bären! Ich dachte, es wird so werden, dass jeder von den wilden Bären spricht, aber man sie dann letzlich doch nicht zu Gesicht bekommt. Wie mit den Elchen ...
