... for lunch, since it was a place I frequented as a young child. Lunch was at Barnacle Billy's in Perkins Cove in Ogunquit. We were able to have a nice corner table overlooking the boats and under the awnings, as it continued to drizzle and rain. And on we go. This day we upped and got outta Saco and headed for Freeport, one of the shopping meccas in Maine. To do what else, but SHOP!!, and oh! boy! did we shop, well, me anyway. When I shop for myself and have some coin to spend, I love shopping for clothes. I bought about 13 shirts, a rain jacket, 3 pairs of shoes, a couple of pairs of long pants, and lots of other "stuff". Our next stop was Boothbay, Maine. I am in love with these quaint New England towns! We found a place to park and walked through downtown Boothbay. Some of the shops were still open so I was able to drop in a few. I was in search of a lobster trap buoy to bring home. After a few stores, I found exactly what I was looking for. Breakfast at the b&b, then we walked to town to check on the boat schedule. Boat didn't leave until 1 so we walked around town then came back to the b&b for a while (I took a nap)...,walked back down to the pier for our boat trip. It was great! Cap'n Fish's Little Bit of Maine tour..,.2 hours long and the weather was gorgeous! Came back and had a quick snack ...
