... was surprising cool. The dock area has a funky feel to it and on our second day we got to see a lot of the architecture on our Magical Mystical Tour. Yes, we did a Beatles bus tour in a replica of The Magical Mystery Tour bus. An awesome experience is the best way to describe it. ... I am really doing this. Like most travel shows, the visa was the last piece of the jigsaw that I was waiting for and for a while it was a little touch and go whether all the paperwork I needed would arrive in time. However with one week to go, my visa appeared and now I can look forward to the inflight movies which I have not had the chance to see yet (including the Amazing Spider Man 2).

... Liverpool was still a run down, grubby old port town full of derelict buildings. This may have been true once but today, wow it is such a beautiful port city, and the dock areas look amazing with the combination of old and new buildings. Many of those buildings are museums or art galleries and remarkably they and the other museums by the station are free to enter. This is it! The tour has begun! After an insane bags to bus call (6:45am), we were on our way! Did a quick tour of London whilst on the bus, then we made our way to Liverpool, where we hit the first of some famous English weather (rain!) while on the way.
