... beside us and the wonderful speech. We love you both. We boarded our plane to Athens at 5pm , however there was a slight hiccup. They didn't give us a seat allocation as their computer system was down. Then when we were waiting to board the people without a seat allocation were put on standby!!!! Fortunately for them, they put us on our flight! We arrived at our hotel called "350 degrees" at 6.15pm. It's very cool with retro decore. See photos below! Off to bed for a big sleep ...

... curvy roads and get us home. We popped into see Andy and Marco. We sat on the balcony overlooking the beautiful bay and village of Kioni as smells of yummy Greek food and the putt, putting of boats echoed in the distance. We sipped tea and chatted. A Greek man who knew we had a Greek connection to the local village, shouted us a bottle if Ouzo!! Marky and Tim loved it. Three glasses of that stuff ...

Ester, a fellow Homer fan, and I spoke at length about the point of the Odyssey. There is one part of the story that struck a cord with both of us. While Odysseus is being held captive by the demi-god, Calypso, she offers him immortality. She lets him know that if ...

We had a lovely sleep in and then went for a delicious swim in the crystal clear sea. It's soooo turquoise blue! You can see to the bottom of the water it is so salty and clean! The weather has been amazing 26 degrees. We then wandered into the village and had a lovely coffee. We ordered a Greek salad and saganaki (fried haloumi). God we are just getting so fat! The Greek cheeses are delicious and the beers good too. However, their red wine ...
