Woke up and ventured down stairs for breakfast in the basement kitchen. They only serve a traditional English breakfast nothing else so as it was all prepaid we were forced to eat baked beans, sausages and an egg and jam and cheese. Plus a cup of tea. Spent the day sightseeing. We went to Buckingham Palace, the National Art Gallery, the M&M shop, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly and Regent Street. It felt like we spent the whole day moving around a giant monopoly board. Buckingham ...

Westminster Abbey has been the setting for every Coronation since 1066 and you can view the Coronation Chair during your visit.

... so I had my photo op moments. The lovely ladies dressed in fuchsia, lots of makeup, and up-dos took my photos. I was escorted to Table 91. The table was dressed in linen and decorated with flowers and fine silverware. Tessa walked up to Table 92 and saw that we were sitting next to each other and asked me to join her. The "Pink Ladies" gathered my stuff and I was now sitting with Tessa from the Netherlands. We were immediately ...

    Back to Africa

... stranded passengers I remembered why I never doubted returning to Salone. The people are lovely. Warm, kind, patient and friendly, they accepted their plight with grace and dignity. We helped each other to the hotel, back early to the plane the next morning and through an hour of rerouting through Monrovia. People didn’t get mad and rude they laughed and said, "All things to God!" ...
