... menus we'd seen taking us way too long to pick something to eat! The wifi and food was amazing which was well deserved after the day we'd had. Absolutely shattered once again we had an early night. Ellie and I found a lizard in our room but by this point I think 7 weeks in Asia has made us immune to bugs, even though we had a box room and the lizard was about 2inches long! I was so glad to finally have an early night after about 7 hangovers in a ...

We booked a trip for about 30 bucks yesterday, and headed off after stuffing our faces with chicken strips, mash potato and guava juice at breakfast. It was overcast when we left the hotel but by the time we got to the dock it was already boiling!! We sped out on our speedboat for the bumpy journey, and got to monkey beach where we got to feed them. Next stop was at phi phi island, very early lunch cause of the low tide (don't know why ...

Today we woke up at 7:30 to go for a morning walk along the beach , after that we went back to the resort for breakfast. He had to let the air out of the canoe so we could fit in some places, while we lied as flat as we could, so not to take our faces off on the jagged rocky ceiling of the caves. At one point our tuk tuk man had to get in the water and push us, with just his head out of the water to see where he was going with his headlight torch going. All 15 canoes with all of us on board, were lined up inside these tunnels with our tuk tuk paddlers doing ...

... br> That night we wandered over to Bangla Road which is the Patong Beach party street. Equipped with enough She-Males to go around, the street is exactly the beach party town you imagine in movies or books. We explored the fantastically inexpensive drink bargains on the road, met foreigners, and ended up singing along to a Thai band that did covers of Top 40 hits. A great first night and a strong indication of the few days to come.
