OMG after a tiring day of waiting around then changing air craft twice (as we isn't have a direct flight to Phuket). Which also meant that flying with Thailands boutique aircraft we got two meals in the space of three hours lol.

Once we finally got a mini bus to take us and 8 other people to Patong, we arrived in the middle of the chaos and carnage of Bang la road. Welcome to the hedynistic heights of one of Thai lands ...

... jumping from the ferry into knee deep water (of course I decided to wear pants), and having to carry my bag a decent distance in the water until reaching the shore. Due to low tide they couldn't pull us right up to shore, and there was no nice resort tractor waiting for us like in Phi Phi. I have no idea what Mallory would've done with her rolly suitcase!
