... back, I didn't actually get there until about ten and the line up in the blazing sun was a mile long. I got in line with a Danish fellow who was on the boat with me but who had gotten off one stop too soon and spent the next few hours chatting with him and a retired couple from Mission who met in prison (both worked there, what a great never get old opening introduction). ... I could get into the condo system from our room so that has been a bonus over the last few days. We will go back into town this afternoon for a last look at a big shopping complex we saw last night and then it will be back to pack for an early start as our taxi is booked for 5am. We fly out on Air India to Delhi for a 2 hour stopover before on to London for 1 night and then it's Eurostar to Barcelona on Tuesday - arriving Wednesday morning. See you in Spain! ...

... than planned start to proceedings today. With the mercury again reaching towards 40 degrees centigrade, we braved a final outing in the sauna like heat inside the Honda Civic to which we've become accustomed when I've not (as is usual) been trusted on the scooter to head towards central Pattaya and "Mini Siam" at which one can wander round and take in miniature versions of some of the great sights of the world. As is standard with Thai attractions, the "wonders" seem to ...
