... so they had turned all of the lights on outside. There was so many different colours. Usually I don't like that cuz it looks tacky but this didn't look tacky. There was two tanks with two small turtles in one and one big one in the other. To the left was a pond where they had massive coi fish that were so pretty. After dining, our bus headed to a
naval base in Pattaya. A large tree branch hit the roof of the bus on

... Pattaya and to be fair it was. However, it still wasn’t really the kind of place I want to be in Thailand. There wasn’t actually a beach as such, it was just giant rectangular blocks of parasols owned by bars and restaurants that stretch from the promenade to the waters edge under which are set out uncomfortable deck chairs and little tables. ... Spent most late nights at our local Pool Bar, 'Walkabout'
Nice lively place, lots to see and do, the beaches were full of deck chairs and sunbeds which spoilt them a bit.
The final night was spent at the Orchard for some fine dining Dad's treat, great meal.
Had a good time in Pattaya and it was great to see Dad.
On now to Bangkok for 3 days...
