    ... total mouthgasm. I was absolutely busting at the seams. At the end they gave us this really cool thing to cleanse your palate I assume though I think I have pretty much anhilated mine. You take a leaf and make a little pocket out if it and then fill it with salt, chillies, nuts, dried shrimp, lime including the rind, sweet chilli sauce and about ten other things.     ... cycle tour to Laos, so we took the opportunity to get one at Santa Fe's in Pattaya. It was good. We returned home via a nursery where we picked up a couple of nice orchids for Noy.     ... pm and paid 10 baht each to a jeep type taxi which can take up to 10 people (see video of me hanging off the back of a full one). Considering it took me 1.5 hours to walk this route, with my pack, 10 baht for the ride seems like the way to go! Got some beers from a 7/11 (they are by far and away the most ubiquitous shop over here) for 38 baht, about half the price of the same thing in a bar and walked down the street and back while watching various entertainers ...

We got some braclets made and had a wonder around pattaya, then I decided I wanted a tattoo before we left so we made plans to go for dinner few drinks and then get one.     ... afternoon was spent at a garden resort, with the prime attraction being the elephant show, which featured elephants playing football, bowling, dancing and painting. All very entertaining but again no doubt cruel. Perhaps it is one's duty to shun such things if you disagree with them, but I fear one abstension from a UK tourist would be futile in the context of an arena crammed with Koreans and Russians.
