This place has been the best yet for service, friendliness and tranquility. The room I stayed in was very small with only a fan but that's what I paid for so I'm not grumbling. The restaurant is lovely and the breakfast is good value at 150 Baht for the Full English including tea, juice, fruit, toast, 2 eggs, sausage, ham and salad garish? I would most definitely recommend this to fellow travellers going in this direction.

We were very pleased to find a member of staff meet us at the bus station after our long journey - we didn't arrange this, they just turned up! The room was very clean and pretty although they didn't clean it again while we were there. They give us great information on the temples and took us to the bus stop for free. The restaurant food was lovely and not expensive. I would definitely recommend it here. Strong wifi connection too. They only take cash though and make you pay at the end of the stay so beware of that.

Collected fromthe bus terminal, the staff are lovely. The bungalows are so lovely! The location is okay, about 10min walk from town. The restaurant does fantastic food. The pinapple pancakes must be tried!
This has been a very welcome rest stop on our journey.

It was weird waking up this morning and know it was just Katie and I - no Thye telling us where to go and when to be there and no massive tables booked for dinner. But we're already in touch with Liz & Nicola, Ellie & Leigh and Neil & Nicola so that helps! Oh and it was also weird waking up because there was no windows - it's just odd …

2nd October 2014 An early start in preperation for our first of what will feel like hundreds of bus journeys around SE Asia gave us our first taste of what to expect. Initially having arrived at 8.30 for our 9am bus, we learnt that 9.05 would be early for a 9am bus...alas once it did arrive it was a pleasant six and a half hours! The roads in …

From Patong, I leapt northward to central Thailand to visit past capitals of this diverse country. Other than the trans-Pacific flight, this was the longest single leg of my journey so far. At four in the afternoon on 20 February, I took a local bus from Patong Beach to Phuket Town's bus station. At six in the evening, I boarded a "VIP" bus boun...
