Last night we went to Dominos for some late night pizza to complement our movie night with Shrek. We brought our pizza back and upon opening the box, we found that a large pizza in New Zealand is about equal to a United States small pizza. After that came Napier, having travelled via Taupo, to see all the art deco buildings in the rain. Worse weather was to come that day as we got stuck in a snowstorm travelling to Palmerston North, when an inch fell in an hour, which made travelling hairy. We have now arrived in the capital, Wellington. On our drive, we journied up to the top of Mount Victoria to see the stunning view of the city. Wellington is known as the windy city and on the top of the mountain, it was extremely windy!

... another treat as a number of the passengers were putting on a 'Talent Show', a very entertaining and comprehensive show with performances ranging from Vera Lynn songs, a young Japanese family singing a song in their native tongue, a lady reciting a 'Monologue', two separate gentlemen doing comedy acts - all very well performed and very professional - we didn't realize how much talent we had on board the ship.
