I won't go into details but needless to say I left it shaking my head at the brutality of some people and the beauty of human endurance. I met some really great people in Berlin and will be travelling with them onto Prague in the Cecz Republic. ... went with us. we went to the jewish museum. this place was very modern and had a very abstract design. but the memorials inside the museum were very thoughtful and clever. i'll post some of the pics. walking through berlin its hard not to think about all the tanks that used to roam the streets. you can still see where the bullet holes were patched up on the buildings. its pretty intense. i'll tell you more about berlin in another post...

Most of us didn't of course, but it still was a good time and we got to learn some of the games at the practise tables playing for chocolate. The reason - Good Guy's mother was one of the tourists who had come to Rothenburg in its resurgence and loved it. She brought home souvenirs and photos for her son and told him all about the city.
