... It drizzled rain right through this 6km long gorge but the sky was clear when we exited the northern end! PM - Had lunch here in Skalni Mlyn, a scungy hot dog with mustard, not a good choice! 40 Kms.... AM - We had the morning to look around Mikulov, which was a quaint little village. Had a look at the village square then the castle on the hill (no princess's in there today Adele)! Took a guided tour of the castle with English language headphones, the whole complex was set on fire by the Germans as they left at the end of WW2 so the interior has been redone but is not genuine. After that it was pretty well plain sailing past some beautiful vineyards and little houses, more farmland of wheat, barley, canola, potatoes, pumpkins and lucerne. One great thing we found in Vienna and Prague is that major sites included an audiophone with your entrance ticket, so you could go through palaces and such at your own pace.
