This may be a long entry so excuse the grammer/spelling.

arrived in sapa at 7 in the morning so had done all our research about trips and everything else we needed to do by 9 so were a bit stumped as to what to do for the day as sapa is a very small town in the mountains in the north west of vietnam. But we did find out there was a national park above sapa which we spent most of the day exploring which was pretty cool to relax in ...
Sapa, Vietnam deardens2... 000D. Which is like 300,000D cheaper than a train.
We hopped on the train and headed out. We Played some cards, ate some random food and passed out by 9:30pm. I didn't have as bad of gas so slept really well. We pulled up to the station in Hanoi at 4:30am.....blah! That was rough. We took a taxi to Ryan's friends house and slept. Than got up to get some breakfast, but my freind Dawn was in a grouchy mood, so we were ...
Sapa, Vietnam spidey788... to kill until my flight to Ho Chi Minh City, so I headed back to the Hostel and dossed around there. A taxi was booked for 7.15am to take me to the airport, so it was time to say goodbye to Simone. It seems something you have to do all to often when travelling, but it's nice to know that you can keep in touch via Facebook.

So that brings you up to date with where I am at so far. Next stop is Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

Hope all is good.

UTV

Bazz x
Sapa, Vietnam bazzrosetravels... Although, there were no Standards posted in the
room...which was a bit troubling for Mike! All of this ended when
outside in the courtyard music started blaring and the children ran
out of the classroom to join other classmates in dancing! We assume
this was for the benefit of the tourists – but we're not sure
because they kept playing the same three songs over and over again
even after the wave of tourists left and we were the only ...
Sapa, Vietnam carlaandmike... the river. Our guide made our lunch & we could buy cold drinks. Was a yummy lunch of baguette, egg, cream cheese & salad & fruit.. More sellers waited outside the restaurant & they werre from the Red Zao tribe & wore red headress & shaved their eyebrows & hairline to make them selves look more beautiful. They live hard lives ...
Sapa, Vietnam hilaryramsey... to the ambience and of course the cuisine laid on by our homestay owner. Even still we had a lovely night relaxing and putting the feet up after all the walking!
Day three we head for silver waterfall, a bus is laid on today thank god! About 200 steps up we finally reach the top and get some fantastic views. We stop close to the waterfall where Ping shows us China in the distance, only 60km from this stretch of road. Unfotunately we don't have the time ...
Elles veulent savoir. Et nous aussi.
Pourquoi est ce que nous attendont ...
Sapa, Vietnam charlyvaness... unpopular 17km mountain-pass-to-valley-floor route, and picked a scorching day to do it. Our guide was 'Three', a half Black Hmong local that was friendly enough, but the pace that he set made us think he had better places to be. We all sweated a lot that day.

That night both Ritchie and Raj succumbed to the flu-like symptoms that they had been developing over the past couple of days and were both in bed by 8pm with fevers ...
Sapa, Vietnam jiewu... went off 35 minutes later, but it felt like I had just laid down. I walked out to find Luke on the computer and slurred out a sentence that he luckily understood as , "Come on, we’ve got to go meet some people.” I was still inebriated and was pretty out of it as we made our way along the wet streets up the hill to the guy’s hotel. On the way there I tried to explain to Luke the onslaught that took place over lunch, but as I’d later find out, wasn’t ...
Sapa, Vietnam tex25... Our guide asked a lady to see inside her house and she was happy to let us in. The floor was a lovely carpet of dirt and the ceiling had curtains of spider webs. I was also lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her chest as she only buttoned one button on her shirt. Quite an eye opening visit but we were still greeted with smiling faces and kids imitating us with a choir of "hello, bye bye, hello, bye bye". (Gee I wish I could put a few photos in here)
<br ...
