Live chickens, dead full size pigs, big chunks of fat, mounds of garlic, huge barrels of chili relish, everything sold here and ...

Three hundred dollars, his brand new netbook and digital camera he purchased just for this trip, a flashlight and his knock off Wal-Mart aviators, all missing. His bag, that had been laying by his side all night as he slept - violated, scoured and robbed. Everything of value was taken and the thieves were ...

At 7.00am we would get up and the warm up would be to run to the nearby stream, pick up a stone, balance the stone on our heads and walk back to the temple, balancing the stone all the way. We started with quite small stones the first day, but bigger ones the next few days. Some of the young monks were carrying huge rocks, double the size of their heads.

At 8.00am we would have breakfast. Every other day would ...
