        ... ate dinner with them before returning to our hotel.Our flight home is tomorrow at 1pm. We will fly through Los Angeles and unlike on the way here when we stayed the night in LA, we will continue on to home.         ... craft. The highlight for me though was the replica of Captain James Cook's ship, Endeavour. The project to build this ship was initially financed by Alan Bond of America's Cup fame. He eventually ran afoul of the law and went bankrupt.. However, the project was completed by others with a little help from the government It is considered to be the finest replica of a sailing ship of its time. The detail is amazing.         ... in their bags…. Lot of people had their photos taken in their elegant gear. I’m guessing some had spent some time (+ $$$) at the ship’s salon too.

        Tonight’s show was all about magic and illusion (with Tana Karo). It was a fantastic show and the illusions had us all dumbfounded! The finale had her coming across the auditorium on a wire above our heads…..

        The ship is making good time towards Noumea but cloudy so no sunset photos tonight.

        ... an odd film, I couldn't get past how odd the title character's broken English seemed - it sounded as if her lines were written by someone who was not familiar with how Japanese people speak English.

        The lights of the Vivid festival were bright.

        ... then we were off. The cabbie on the way to the airport was so pleasant and chatty and almost wanted to carry our bags into the airport for us! (And given the pile after a month with all our snorkel gear and all the stuff we are bringing back with us I was almost prepared to let him!!).
