We pass 5 days at Sandat Mas cottages and it was really nice. Quiet place with a swimmingpool and very clean rooms. It was a littlte bit expensive in comparison with the North of Bali (350'000 rps without A/C), but we enjoy staying there.

Ai, that's been a while. The past two and a half weeks atf Rapture have been amazing, even so amazing that I decided to prolong my stay. I met amazing people, most a bit older than me. You won't believe how many times I've heard 'ohhhhh you're only twenty.. you still have the choice, please do it right!'. Most of these comments would come from lawyers, doctors and business people running succesful careers. However, on the inside they were stuck ...

... down the trail and climb down a somewhat open crevice, into a cave like spot that opens into the sea. This is the entry point to the most fierce surfing break in Bali. We took one look at the triple overhead waves coming in quick sets and we knew there was no way we were going out. We scored an awesome photo spot though. This spot is known as Blue Point, it seems pretty local, and not very touristy. By this time we were starving, so we headed to Padang ...

... different types of fish and so many turtles. No wonder it is one of the top 10 places to learn to dive. And what made it even better, was that my diving instructor had a look of Channing Tatum! It is a whole new world underwater and I can't wait to get out there and do more scuba diving. After 4 days here I took a boat to Gili Air, the smallest of the 3 islands. It is pretty much the same as Gili T apart from it is much quieter. We spent our time here mainly ...

Day 5 Shopping at Lippo and Discovery malls.

    What a day.
We started out heading into Lippo Mall for a look at the new Sketchers shoe shop and then the rest of the Mall.
Left Laurence behind as had forgotten his wallet. He did catch up eventually though.

G ended up with about 10 pairs of shoes and T, who wasn't even there even ended up with a new pair of pink Sketchers. I tried on a few pairs but nothing would fit.

... about 800 people living there. He told us all about the village life, the history and the rituals and traditions. Cockfighting seems to be very popular in Bali and is one of their main events, one cock has to die and will then be eaten for dinner. The village has a pink cock, which was dyed as a joke... Poor thing :( we also saw the batik and silk/cotton materials that had been made in the village and basket bags and boxes, some really lovely ...
