We pass 5 days at Sandat Mas cottages and it was really nice. Quiet place with a swimmingpool and very clean rooms. It was a littlte bit expensive in comparison with the North of Bali (350'000 rps without A/C), but we enjoy staying there.

So we turned around and headed back towards our hotel, we wanted to make one quick stop for waters and snacks before going back to shower, about 100m from our hotel we were coming down the big hill, Tash hit the breaks and we super fishtailed, going sideways on the road, we got off, looked at our back wheel and it was flat and completely off the rim! On our last night there we went in search for the beach bar that was having a party. We were told that is wasn't that far from where we sat and watched the sunset. This in fact was a lie! We headed back to Balangan beach to see our good friends at Froggies and had some great food, cold beer and green amazing coconuts. It was a sad say as we would departing soon to Kuala Lumpur soon and it would be the last time we hung out with Froggy.
The people of Bali are amazing some of the most friendly people we have ...
... shown how to cook and serve the meals. We made a Balinese soup as a starter, a satay chicken dish with yellow garlic rice and chicken pepes for the main course and a coconut and palm sugar pancake for dessert. Cooking the food was actually really straight forward and simple, the only difficult thing at home will be finding and being able to afford all the spices and other ingredients that aren't available to us in every normal supermarket. After all the cooking had been done we ...
... so Jenny, Eva and myself headed a few hotels down to happy hour and had a few cocktails (or four). The other volunteers from the other projects all joined us later for a big meal to say goodbye to some volunteers and welcome to some others! There was a slight pickle during the meal with wine and at the end with underpayment and over charging but all was sorted.
All in all, was a lovely day and cannot believe how much I am enjoying myself!
