We pass 5 days at Sandat Mas cottages and it was really nice. Quiet place with a swimmingpool and very clean rooms. It was a littlte bit expensive in comparison with the North of Bali (350'000 rps without A/C), but we enjoy staying there.

    Oh hello Seminyak

... companions. Bliss - until the car ride home when I had to endure the exact same thing again. In the evening we headed down to Seminyak beach, drank beer and chilled on bean bags as we listened to a live band. Since coming traveling (and I don't know if this will change when I go to Kuta) I haven't really had an interest in going out and drinking loads like I did at home. I actually get tired really early on and can't wait to sleep. I think I'm getting ...

... the course of time I started to realize something: yes, I am bruised, beaten up and sore, but apart from that nothing hurts! I even secretly started to take a little less medicine, and still everything's working! So.. maybe I have finally found something that will allow me to be active, get a high on adrenaline and to just let go for a while! Of course I didn't pick the easiest thing, especially with my 'talent' for physical activity it's gonna ...

... the Sumatran curry. Both were great, but I think Amelia had a little bit of food envy that night! As we were back in the surf mecca of Bali, it was only right to try and catch some waves! Amelia nor Beth were up for joining me, so they relaxed on the beach and watched from afar, whilst I spent an hour or so surfing off Labuan beach. The surf was a little bigger than I'm used to, so I spent much of the time wiping out, but still it was a good workout and I had fun. By ...

... for me to get a better price.

Durian is a large fruit that stinks to high heaven but tastes good. It's actually banned in Singapore because of the smell! But then again, many fun things are banned in Singapore.

It cost about a dollar and we ate it later that night and the next day, but boy did it start to stink up our room, even though we kept it in a bag in the fridge. For such a large, prickly fruit, there really is only ...

... The people were nice, the food was great and the beaches were stunning! There were nice little beach bars where you could sit and chill out on beanbags whilst drinking a bottle of Bintang (Indonesia's finest beer). Local people would also light fires on the beach once the sun had gone down and it was nice to have a wonder down the beach and then sit around a fire. There was alot of plankton in the water at night and some of it gets washed ashore, and when ...
