We pass 5 days at Sandat Mas cottages and it was really nice. Quiet place with a swimmingpool and very clean rooms. It was a littlte bit expensive in comparison with the North of Bali (350'000 rps without A/C), but we enjoy staying there.

... my luck and went for it. It was super cheap to rent for the day, about £3 or thereabouts, and that got me a helmet too. After a very brief explanation, I was off. It was pretty straight forward and I just took my time, not letting anyone pressure me to go faster than I felt comfortable, equally I didn't want to go to slow and cause an accident. Once I got the hang of it, it was pretty fun but I never felt entirely safe the whole day. I just used ...

... that was more mud brown than blood red. South Kuta We booked our Homestay, Villa Rica, through a surf company that only tells you the address on your confirmation, a surprise, though they guarantee the quality. Rica, like our previous homestays doesn't have anyone on hand for complaints, praise or even payment. The family live within their walls and you fend for yourself. What it does have is a feeling that you're bunking down at your mates instead of at an impersonal hotel. ...

... to the room as there us really No night life here but to be honest we enjoyed the early night. On the 2nd day we had breakfast again awful! And booked the free shuttle to Pandawa Beach, this place was stunning, on the entry roads you go through an old chalk quarry and there are also 4 23m statues of Hindu gods that have been carved into the limestone cliffs. We took many pictures as the beach was lovely and the waves were fantastic. The next day we decided to go to Uluwatu ...

For dessert we bought a snickers from the shop opposite our hotel which was amazing as always! we also managed to BOSS IT and booked two tours for the next couple of days, which will mean we have seen everything we wanted to in Bali Sightseeing wise and also gives us a lift to Ubud which will be our next stop. Result !! We saved the day after all! Tomorrow and the next day will be very busy ...

... of walking everywhere. I drove my hire car to the markets today, worst mistake as it was hopelessly busy and I already struggle driving a car! We went to the Kuta markets down by the beach. My American friend I met Adalyn, was lovely and I felt really comfortable around her. I spent too much money at the markets on things I probably won’t ever use or wear again. I brought some cool fans, brand name clothes, some ...
