The day started early for us today as it had been raining heavily overnight. Our novice tent building skills were in evidence as our annex was holding vast reserves of water. Mark held guard between 4.30 and 5.30. We knew we were in for a wet one. Even the brush turkey did not like it a bit. Our main goal for the day was to make the annex correct so we did not have any water built up risking damaging our annex.

After waking up shattered again I got up and had breakfast in the sun which was nice, my plan for today was to go to the lighthouse, be nice to have a walk.. So I started on my way taking a causal stroll but it was a much more of an intense walk than I thought!
