We woke nice and early, battled through the cold shower, which is very common throughout Philippines and so much so that I've nearly stopped complaining about it! Taking a tricycle with the same guy from yesterday as he offered a good deal, we arrived in Talisay by mid morning. A few places searched with some pricey rates (more than El Nido) before being taken to the guy's aunties accommodation (and also sister of the last dodgy place we stayed at!) which ...

Arrived early at NAIA 3, my flight booking was on a "chance passenger status", but to my surprised that my reservation was a confirmed one! Yippee. Maybe Lolo Pablo really wanted me to come home. Approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes flight, no seat mate, no row mate, all alone in the exit door seats. Behind me are two ladies, slang to the nth power! Like "oh luhk, its the Mississippi river!!" What a ****,Mississippi river? Were Flying over ...

... out there and see more of the Philippines. Our plan for Thursday was to visit Villa Escudero - a plantation/resort about 2 hours away from Metro Manila. On this adventure, Ate Baby and I would be accompanied by Ate Neneng, Ate Baby Lou and her son, Rhett.

Villa Escudero was originally a sugar cane plantation, but turned into a coconut plantation in the early 1900s. Originally settled by a Spaniard who married a Filipina, this plantation ...

        ... adorable!

After watching some TV, uploading pictures on to Facebook, and reading a little bit, it was time to get out of the house and get some fresh air. SO... I went to the Spa. Come on, some of you know me well enough to know if Ellaine can get pampered, then she will!! So many treatments to choose from and so little time! I ended up choosing to get an exfoliation and body wrap treatment. WOW! For about $45, I was treated ...
