We woke nice and early, battled through the cold shower, which is very common throughout Philippines and so much so that I've nearly stopped complaining about it! Taking a tricycle with the same guy from yesterday as he offered a good deal, we arrived in Talisay by mid morning. A few places searched with some pricey rates (more than El Nido) before being taken to the guy's aunties accommodation (and also sister of the last dodgy place we stayed at!) which ...

Arrived early at NAIA 3, my flight booking was on a "chance passenger status", but to my surprised that my reservation was a confirmed one! Yippee. Maybe Lolo Pablo really wanted me to come home. What a ****,Mississippi river? Were Flying over ...

Yes, we have a mini hospital at work, a doctor, optometrist, and dentist all included. My feet have also been swollen from the change in ...

... at! It looked so cool and I knew I wanted to go!

When we arrived, we first made our way to building that looked like a church, but actually was a museum of the collectibles of the Escuderos. Because many of the pieces were one of a kind, cameras were NOT allowed :( Bummer. The collectibles included religious icons (especially those placed on floats during Holy Week), taxidermy animals, insects, coins, pottery, and clothing... that's ...

... but very popular in the Philippines. And well I'll be damned, I just googled it and found that there is one near me in Virginia! I suppose when I get a craving for this yummy chicken, I'll be heading into Fairfax or Centreville. Sorry... got sidetracked. At BonChon I enjoyed a chicken sandwich and some fries... it was pretty good! I think I needed a short break from the rice and having some real deal french fries actually made ...
