A unique guesthouse that fully deserves its great reputation. The thing that makes this guesthouse is the staff - very friendly and very helpful. The location also allows you to be in walking distance of the main sights without being among the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff. Great location for exploring sights. Room was clean and spacious....but walls are incredibly thin so if you get noisy neighbors it's a long night. Breakfast included, basic but fresh.

Clean rooms. Very friendly staff and just offside Khao San Road. Nothing more you could want. Bathrooms are shared but absolutely (!!!) clean. My advise for your budget stay in Bangkok!

Very cozy, clean and nice place. Great reliable wifi. Rooms are tiny. Be sure to not be sold on an extra bed in a double room as you won't have room for any luggage or walking around. Shared bathrooms. Breakfast included, but won't fill a tooth. 10 minute walk from Khao San. Night guard speaks no english. Overall, good value.

Just the beach weekend I needed

After Laos I decided to take a few days off before heading back out to get everything back in order, do laundry and take care of a few things back in Bangkok. Anyway, once it started getting closer to the weekend I was ready just to relax, and luckily at the same time so was my friend Caitie. So we took off three hours south of Bangkok to the is...

    The Rubber Plantation!

Rubber or Latex plantation is common type of farming for the East, and the South of Thailand. I am lucky that my father in law own one of the rubber plantations in Khun Song, Chantaburi, not so far from the Khoa Wong-Kot. Usually, the rubber is cultivated at night due to the cooler weather. The farmers will cut a long small strip of bark and mak...

    The Island Life

Our last stop of the trip was back in Thailand. We decided to spend four days on the island of Koh Chang at Lonely Beach which was absolutely lovely. We finally got our beach weather and enjoyed it!! Sorry that there have not been any updates in the last few days. We have been on Ko Samet Island for the past 4 days, and we left our laptop behind with our friend Danielle. We left early Monday morning for the bus station, with Hal and Carl. We had to take a bus to Ban Phe, which was about 3 or 4 hours from Bangkok. It was only $4 each for the ...
