... It just very hard to understand if you do not speak and understand Japanese.... well , maybe its just me...... It Seems to me that the Japanese just have no interest to be understood and will further Isolate them if they are not Changing their Education system to adopt a second world language for coming Generations. The do make it up by being very very Friendly and courteous and trying hard to accommodate everybody..... but very few even speak a few words of a foreign ...

... the old 1048 Convention based License!!!!! Not being easily discouraged went to an JAF Office to have my current License Translated to fulfill their Requirements.....only took a half a day and 3000 Yen..... It's all relative and overall actually a great opportunity to learn more about Japanese ...

... Chiringashima Island while riding along the sea wall. We had visited the same park next to Chiringashima Island a few days earlier when Hiroko-san, Miki-san and Matsumoto-san picked us up from the train station. We hadn't tried to walk all the way across the sand bridge on that occasion but had both agreed if we came here again we'd like to do that. ... knew that Brian is very focused on kiting so they wanted to show us the coastline. We drove to a high point where we got the most amazing view of a small, uninhabited island called Chiringashima that is linked to the mainland by a one-half mile sand path. Depending on the tides, you may not be able to walk across.

Unfortunately the wind was too light to actually pull me up on a board in the water but I thought I might as well connect up my lines and fly my kite on the beach to dry it out (this takes a whole lot less wind). At any rate, I put my big 15m kite away a little damp over a week ago at Ichinomiya Beach near Tokyo and I haven't had a sunny day or lots of space in abundance until today.
