    ... the main goal back in October. I'm just an emotional person who likes to reflect on the intensity of the "little things" so today was a big deal. There is a lot of new vocabulary to learn. For example, a "torch" is a flashlight and "have a go" means "just try your best". I'll try to post one new word a day.     ... and only the walls remain. It's now the center of a traffic roundabout and stands as a reminder. More famously, Plymouth is the site the Pilgrims we remember on Thanksgiving set sail on the Mayflower from. James took us down to the water front, and what a view!     We were sad to leave our wild spot of Cornwall, but we had s perfect day of travel across Dartmoor. Parts of it were wild and isolated. All the Dartmoor ponies had new foals and all the new born lambs were prancing about. The Dartmoor prison looked suitably grey, Victorian and forbidding.     Well, after 60 mile an hour winds last night and torrential rain, it looks as if the weather may ease sufficiently to give us a window for departure.

    So we should start Wednesday at 7am and will head for Ushant and across the Bay of Biscay towards the north west cape of Spain, cap finisterre where there is always at least a gale blowing!
