    ... a cross between the old women who lived in a shoe and the highwayman - quite weird but it made you stop and have a look!! Then headed to the coast to Bournemouth to stretch our legs.     ... was not easy. The stokers had the worst job as they worked in very hot, unhealthy, filthy surroundings. Often they were only 15 and were lucky to live to 25. After every shift they had to have the coal dust screwed out of their noses and their eyes sluiced out. Not a great life!!     One last swim in our lovely pool and then it was on to the very last leg of our trip. Two and a half hour flight to Sydney and then 9 hours to Hong Kong. Arrived at the Upper House Hotel at 4am in the morning after a very bumpy flight from Sydney. This fantastic hotel had a room ready for us, a cup of tea and a very comfy bed.
