... he spent the day in his engine well, we had him over for a big spaghetti dinner. Today, Tony hoisted him up his mast so that he could check for any damage - which thankfully he thinks is very minimal. Since the strike took out his auto helm, he gave Tony all of his spare parts for it (since it's the same one we have).

We are now watching weather in hopes for a window to cross to the Abacos.

Governor's Harbour was the prettiest and most picturesque harbour we've been to thus far.

We also were very happy to find a sports bar with satellite TV so that we could watch the World Cup. Bahamian cable was blocking the games - making them pay-per-view only.

Bags packed and our Turtle Cove experience coming to an end at 10:00 check-out time, our taxi arrived promptly at 10:00 am to take us to the North Eleuthera International Airport. The cab driver made a brief stop along our driveway to gather some ripe mangos from our favorite tree. Life is very relaxed on Eleuthera. ... he happened to have a spare doodad to open the doohicky. The entire crew was pleasantly and gratefully surprised when the operator offered a spare tool. The triumphant Captain removed the cap, gas tank was topped off, cap replaced, tool returned and the pump nozzle given back to the operator along with $51 for 6 gallons. Our refueling task complete, the Captain restarted the engine as the First Mate untied the tie off rope and we proceeded around to the opposite side of the dock ...
