... The military was made up of the round heads and the cavaliers, around the mid 1600's a contingent of round heads were stationed here to protect this area from threats of invasion by the Spaniards.

We spent a couple of hours at the pool later in the day which was nice and we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the marina restaurant it was a great meal. Bryan successfully beat Martin and I in a rousing game of crib and we watched a bit of tele.

We landed at North Eleuthera International Airport on schedule at 2:00 pm. (not exactly Miami International) Our pilot did a wonderful job of weaving thru the thunderheads and totally avoiding most of the storms between Miami and our destination so we didn't have the bumpy ride after all. :)).
