The winds are calmer today so we might try and snorkel off the beach who knows what the day will give us. No snorkeling but a swim in the ocean and time at the pool was pretty much how the day played out.

... is very quiet - not many people out.

Was going to wake up for sunrise but too tired. Slept in. Go to beach to try out snorkeling. Windy and waves so poor visibility and no fish. Didn't go out too far though (no fins). Walk around town a bit then to beach. Read, lay around. Into town for snack and wash shorts. Out again and it's cloudy. Read at beach then to Blue Bar for a beer. $8! Back to ...

... gift shop in the area. Our flight doesn't board for another 3 hours. We made a few purchases, chatted with a couple of ladies from Colorado and had the lunch special of jerk pork, potato salad, fried plantains and lima beans and rice. ... and iPad (for creating and uploading our blog, checking email and reading books) and Linda's Kindle... running for over a week, so far, on initial charges... supplemented by several marvelously, lightweight, auxiliary battery packs given to Jim by his daughters last Christmas. And the funny thing is, we adjusted so quickly, painlessly and don't even miss any of the so-called modern conveniences. So far, we haven't needed or wanted to turn the generator ...
