      ... i pojechałem za miasto, aby zobaczyc zachod slonca w swiatynii ktorej nazwy nie potrafie wymowic (napewno wrzucaja ja do tajskich dyktand) wat chaiwatthanaram... Powrot byl dosc dlugi - 12 km, na szczescie slonce juz zaszlo i temperatura stala sie znosna do jazdy.       ... was hoping to be able to get into our room early as we had not slept at all since the previous night (and that hadn't been a good night's sleep either). Well our plan started to unravel at this point as they demanded an extra 20 to be allowed in the room early ie before 2:00pm - their normal check in time. Outrageous as the room was empty. We appealed to their better nature but it appears they didn't have one as they said no. 20 please.

      ... Now either we didn't find it or it's gone seriously downhill; plastic chairs behind a travel shop on the main street doesn't scream recommend me but a £2 meal is a £2 meal! We continued around the temples on the island before easing back to Baan Eve for a tour of the temples just off the island.       ... got knocked out by him trying to take a photo! Throughout the day we got to feed them and in the afternoon got to wash them in the river. The elephants were happily munching on their food while we threw buckets of water over them, it really was a great experience. At the park we met a really nice teacher from London on her summer holiday so we all went out for dinner in Chiang Mai. On one of her school trips she took 26 pupils to India, ...

      ... them for the night. For that I was grateful. The next day was spent chilling out waiting to see if I could get a ticket to Chiang Mai on the sleeper train. Which I did. I gave Peah a generous tip for the great service she had provided, she was so thankful she would not let me take a tuk tuk to the station, but drove me herself. So I was now at the station waiting for the train to Chiang Mai. What would happen next?
