Our morning started with buffet breakfast at the hotel. We then took a short drive a to an opal store where we were shown a short video. We then had a brief demonstration of different types of opal, followed by of course shopping time. We then walked down to the harbor for a walking tour of "The Rocks." We had booked to stay at Rydges Airport hotel as we were too late for connecting flights to Adelaide.This is a short walk from the International Terminal. I had also decided that as we had to stay over we might as well make the most of it and have a day in Sydney.

... off I thought, “Bugger it! I’m pulling out all stops,” and several hours of begging and an hour or two of nude photography later I had enough to buy a $12 cocktail.
