      Old Thai wooden style houses with private terraces and sitting areas throughout the lovely gardens. We stayed in one of the cheapest rooms and felt like we were living like kings!

      We arrived in Lampang after a long journey from Phitsanulok- 7 hours to be exact of what should have been a 5 hour jouney- a reoccurance in Thailand for public transport! We were stuck at a stand still at Pha Khan station as the train ahead had broken down and it is a single track heading north.
