... twist gave it a humorous but irritating element. We declined his offer of a trip to the fishing village, kite maker, puppet maker and dragon boat temple as there was every chance one of us wouldn’t have got through the afternoon without dangling him on the end of the fishing hook. We left saying we would think about his trips- and as he said "we let our conscience be our guide" and returned to the hotel, just before the heavens ...
... All my favourite places in one. I found a new favourite town. Differently favourite from Chicago and Perth but a favourite too. Unfortunately, some of the not so plesant behaviours towards tourists have also been adapted from the different nations. ... may be a bit of a stretch. I got me thinking again. Whilst locals can happily refer to me as David Beckham, I have a feeling, even in jovial manner, it would be frowned upon for me to start calling any Asian Jackie Chan. Very much a racial inaccuracy that works in my favour and for my amusement. I should probably move on to slightly safer blog based subjects.

I went down to the cafe for breakfast and had a choice of rice dish A or rice dish B with tea or coffee. I elected for the very British "I'll just have tea, I can't eat rice in the morning" and she managed to find me some toast that she made into a Jaffle (this is a new word I learnt- it's a toasted sandwich, Jaffle is much better), so I did get tea and toast. I can't eat much at all after I just wake up, I need an hour to get out of feeling ...
