A scientists' day! An 8am start ! Walk in the rainforest with tons of chattering birds that kept hiding in the canopy. Discovered 2 waterfalls..in the middle of nowhere.. But still a touristy trail.. Maybe 15 were traipsing that we passed on the route. Many species of trees and flora.. I am old so don't remember all the names and you don't really care! One of most fascinating sights is following the trails of the leaf cutter ants. They cut and carry parts of a leaf to a home ...

Lunch of snapper and trimmings was on the beach at Charlottesville, the upper tip of Tobago! ...

As we were watching the round up of the catch a man threw a short log at the fish raiding pelicans which took one out( see picture). Their hour and a half job yielded only a sand pail of anchovies. Rick ...

I had 5 days in Trinidad and Tobago and chose to spend a majority of it in Tobago due to it being smaller and quieter. Typically the capital cities in the islands are not as nice as far as beaches go. I actually arrived the Port of Spain airport in Trinidad and bought a $25 flight to Tobago. The Tobago Airport drops you off right in downtown Crown Point, which isn't too big. You can walk to anywhere in Crown Point from the airport in 5 ...
