Frustrated in Little Marrakech

We arrived in Taroudannt and used our phone (and booking.com) to pick a hotel, Riad Dar El Mouch, inside the city walls of old town. We had the map picture but google could not locate it by the address or the hotel name. We'd have ...

Day 095: 7 hours, 6.5 kms

Day Total: 16 hrs, 13.1 kms

Revisit: Oulad Teima, Morocco

First visit: April, 1997

So on the far side, I take refuge at the side of a cliff, blending in some music with the sound of the rain. ...

... tried again to haggle, but I stopped this and told the driver we'd agreed and it was fine - "C'est bon" "Bon?" "Oui oui" "Bon" - here Dori made an 'ok' sign and said, "Magnifique!" The driver furrowed his brow, "Non!" "Non magnifique?" "NON!" Eventually the driver let this go and made to leave. Here was where we realised that though Max knew no French, he did not let this stop him trying to communicate and communicate loudly. As our driver started the engine he spoke to him ...
