Today was a bit of a wash as it mainly consisted of waiting around for the overnight train to Tangier. Check out at our Riad was 11am so we hung around in the common area for a couple of hours until we got hungry and decided to leave in search of food. When we woke up this morning, Darren wasn't feeling the best. Something in the food maybe? But we had to check out so we packed up and went to meet the guys downstairs. We checked out and put our baggage in the store room then went over to the train station to buy some tickets and try find something to help Darren. Day 228 Day totals: 10 hrs, 12.9 kms At the last minute I manage to squeeze in another stop on Marrakech on my way from Agadir to Casablanca in order to finish that last 13 km stretch from Asni to Tahanaout. Hiking--the idea of walking through the countryside is actually a pretty new concept here in Morocco. Typically Moroccans like to drive or ride to a place--the beach or a river... and just sit and relax. Walking? That's for people who live in remote areas who don't have cars or public transportation. And they're definitely not doing it for fun.
