    ... follows the old city wall. I'm not sure whether we got rid of all the calories from the ice cream, but we feel very slightly virtuous having made it to the top in record time. Mind you, I am now drinking prosecco outside on our terrace which is probably not helping offset the gelato, while the mozzies are feasting on any bare skin they can find!     ... coastline of the true Italian Riviera. We started in the Cinque Terre village of Manarola, where we enter the National Park to hike to Corniglia.     ... Vatican is a process. Firstly, it's a country separate to Italy. So there are the famous Swiss guards and a security check. We were dropped off outside the 20 metre high walls and waltzed in past all the queues of people. We went through security and up the highest and longest escalator I've ever seen.
