    ... a nice bag in Coach. We managed to catch bus back to florence at 12.00 and back at hotel by 1 .10. Now we are going to do some sightseeing, we walked across to the Duomo which just opened after Sunday mass, que was so long and someone started a little qua which we latched on to entered very quickly and looked around really did see better duomo's in Sienna. From here we walked down to the academia museum to see statue of David and all the magnificent art work being held ...

    ... tomorrow how much I liked his choice just as I did the fruit guy at the market who sold us the worlds best cantaloupe yesterday. He loved it when I told him today and teased me about my hesitation yesterday as the fruit had no fragrance until cut open (which he did for us but have us a whole new one when we agreed it was delicious and said we wanted it!) So we make little friendships everywhere and easily and makes us feel 'at home'. ...

    ... starting from 1296. It is built on top of the older church Santa Reparata which dates back to the 5th century. It has been excavated and you can enter the old church from inside the current one. Parts of the mosaic floor is still intact as well as the architects tombs who built the Santa Maria del Fiore. During the tour we were only outside but did intent to return later to explore inside.

    ... in which we saw a pretty funny clown guy and some creepy window displays: and had an ice cream (predictably) we went back to hostel.

    I am now sat on a train to Milan next to a nun! She is very nice. She doesn't speak much English though. We are going to Interlaken today but I think we shall end up having a day out in Milan because we didnt book the train ahead and it is already full so we shall have to get a later one. Hopefully not a big deal!
