... scared of heights so not so much for him! We then went back down and we saw from the ground how high it really was! After the Duomo or il duomo we went to the gelati shop and I ordered a scoop of Baci and a scoop of cookies! On the way home we had a "quick trip" to some shops (translation 1 hour and 30 minutes). On our way we saw so many small cars, I was taller than most of them! Having fun here ...

... a shop across from the galleri that had a sign in the window saying that for €17, you could skip the line & get direct entry. We that this would probably be a scam so we asked the woman that works in the line bout them and she told us that they're fake tickets. ... once we got hold of the mic they all soon moved up a level to the DJ and we were left with it all. Yay! It didn't take long for everyone to warm up (mostly thanks to all the included wine at dinner!) and we were all soon belting out tunes! ... We have a booking for tonight! Today we got our art fill. First was the gallery di academia - where the original David is housed. Then we hit uffizi to see the birth of Venus or as Luke and I dubbed her - the lady in the clam. From there we made is to the glitter strip of Florence the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Lined with gold and jewels. There's no 9crt gold here. Strictly 18crt and every stone ever mined. At the other side of the river ...
