A travel blog entry by ashandgayle on Oct 27, 2014

Hi everyone, we are departing our hotel for our journey to Venice on a high speed train. We had a wonderful dinner last night at our favourite Cafe owned by Toni. He makes his favourite dishes for us. He is a high energy guy, he is writing a cook book. He travels to LA USA Nov-February. He was kind and loving to us cooking his private recipe ...

The car totalled the bike and when we finally left the scene (30mins later), the two in the motorbike were still on the road (appeared ok; mostly likely just broken bones I'd say). Ally wanted to hop out and help - nursing material? Next stop was San Gimignano in the Tuscan countryside, famous for its Chianti wine and olive oil. Had lunch at ...

... be interesting to just spend a day in a cafe in the centre of Rome and just watch the people. The trip to Florence is via Siena. We are on the Autostrada and the road is very smooth when compared to the cobblestones of Rome. Part of the road parallels the high speed rail (TGV). We are doing about 100kph and the trains are passing us with ease. Apparently they are speed limited to about 200kph but have been tested at up to 500kph. The ...
