... alone in a six-seat saloon, which was excellent for viewing the Alps through the large windows. The scenery was lush and green, up and down, granite and copse. I snapped a few photos around Colle Isarco, Italy but they do not do justice. We watched Germany gradually evolve into Italy. Everyone should take such a train trip, in the daytime.

We arrived in Bolzano about 8:30pm. It was still light and we found the hotel right away.

unfortunately I carried the flu lergy with me from perth and as much as i tried to ignore it, it finally turned on me. ... and helmets fitted. It was actually much more full on and the kids had to manage their own hooking on and off at every junction and it was high above the ground. To end the course there was a really high flying fox which you slammed into a mat on the ground. Corvara is a great place to work on any fear of heights you may have. ... Heiligenblut, Lienz Good ride, sleet and rain at the top of Grossglockener. We did it - no probelms on the GrossGlockner pass and just stunning views. Only sleeting a lttle bit at the top (trying to stay positive!) Found the hotel that my parents stayed in Dobbiaco.
