The mighty Dolomite Passes
... of snow and was a bit slippery now and again but nothing I could not handle.
Soon I arrive at the summit of this wonderful pass and discover it’s called "Falzarego pass" at 2117m. Again like most of the pass summits there are hotels and restaurants situated here but as it’s out of season there is not a sign of movement from any of them.

... system kicked in as the tyres let go on the icy patches. One thing I love about this bike of mine is the Honda linked breaking system. On this system, if one applies the rear break it puts the rear brake on as normal but applies a very small amount of break to the right hand disk on the front wheel also. It makes it great for conditions such as this.
Because of this system I only used the rear brake pedal the whole way down this pass thus letting me keep my hands wrapped ...
