    Started off the day with a tour of the Prague palace and the St. Vitus cathedral. Both of which were massive. Then we walked to the Charles Bridge by way of the Golden Lane. The Golden Lane was where alchemist and a few famous writers supposedly lived. It was full of small houses, now used as shops.     ... We took lots of pics. The days have been long and there hasn't been wifi. This is the chaperones trying to give you a little update.     ... like a large kebab. Back to the bus and a short ride up the hill to the castle. Here Anne had her first chance to get up close ( but not personal) with a man in uniform !!!! Guards at the entrances to the palace. Through the palace ... Well a little of it a large hall that was once used for Lippizaner horses originally. We viewed a window from which they used to throw people ... There were some Catholics who survived being thrown ...

    ... warm to freezing and wet (probably not helping with the sickness) so we went back to camp around 6pm and had dinner at the restaurant there followed by an early night! No real urgency to return to Prague, although it would be nice to go when I was feeling better! The currency was annoying so to with the pub crawl salespeople, though this shouldn’t mask the beauty of the actual city, maybe it’s the sickness talking! N & B ...

    ... Quarters in Europe. The weather in Prague was extremely hot, nearly hitting 40c on the days we were there. We found a lovely cafe in the shade behind the church to enjoy lunch and rest the feet. Along with a million other people we walked across the span of the Charles bridge, the most famous bridge in Prague.
