Liliova is the name of the street in the Old Town of Prague where we are staying and many are the times we have lost our way trying to find our way back through the maze of streets. One way goes to the main square and the other goes to the tram stop. We are only about 200 m from the Charles Bridge, we've got the route sorted. This is the landmark we look for, the little guy who looks after our place. He's just over the ...

I guess we had gotten used to Central America where the English meetings were few and far between. We could almost never make them because they would be so far outside of the city centers. The going rate for a half-liter of the country's most notable brew, Pilsner Urquell, in any one of its infinite ...

Unfortunately it's also notoriously bad for pickpockets, scam merchants and dodgy taxi operators. Although I had a good time in Prague, it just didn't have the same feel to it that Vienna or Budapest had. Maybe because I was hungover, maybe because I've been on the road for a few days now, regardless I'm glad Prague is ...

... this we went to cheack out the Old Town Square. Here there were plenty of performers, restaurants, shopping, beer and food stalls and beautiful buildings. I couldn’t resist the stall selling sugar coated dough cooked on an open fire rolling pin. I have no idea what this is called, but it was delicious (Alyssa, you would love this!). We bought a couple beers and sat on the curb watching the Bohemian bands and other street performers in the square. ...
