Well, it rained on and off all night and again in the morning. The forecast was for rain/showers for the next few days. We put off our cycle ride/picnic, hoping that it would clear up. When we arrived at La Fleche we settled in and went for a nice stroll by the river after dinner.
There were lots of British vintage TR4's, MG's and other sports cars at the campsite. - some carefully loaded in enclosed trailers.
It is quite near to Le Mans and they go there for track days.

... go. Our Hostel manager felt so bad that the hostel was so dead and boring because of low season that he offered to tour us around. We took up his offer and headed to Cannes for the afternoon. ... we signed up, dumped our gear, we were off to beach. WOW incredible, looked spectacular....shame it didn't have sand only pebbles. Divine nonetheless. All along the boardwalk the had chairs and benches. There were heaps of people strolling around, chilling out on benches ans seats, cycling or running.
