Well, it rained on and off all night and again in the morning. The forecast was for rain/showers for the next few days. We put off our cycle ride/picnic, hoping that it would clear up. ... TO is not in the middle of town, and when we did eventually find it, it had moved, to a site even further out and closed at noon.. Guess what time it was by then ? - 12.10pm!

When we arrived at La Fleche we settled in and went for a nice stroll by the river after dinner.
There were lots of British vintage TR4's, MG's and other sports cars at the campsite. - some carefully loaded in enclosed trailers.
It is quite near to Le Mans and they go there for track days.

... yacht that day. Sadly, the joke was on us when, after one minute total, we were parked 100 meters across and we were told to get out. I guess this ferry bus was for the lazy rich people who didnt want to walk all the way across the port to get to their million dollar yahcht (and I am low balling that price point, they were more like 10 million). ... so many circle roads, roundabouts and crazy people on the roads - which is just the French way - which turned out to be a three block walk from the beach. The temperature was rising (not that it was cold in L'Isle but it was in the 20's when we arrived. Our accommodation was a two bedroom apartment on level 4. It was on Blvd Gambetta with a fabulous bolongerie directly underneath us and a supermarket across the road. It also had basement ...
