We slept rather well and awoke relaxed. On getting up we noticed that a section of the picket fence had been blown down in the storm. Allen successfully repaired the fence (we hope!) and emergency reconstructive surgery was performed on a couple of branches of a bush caught by the fence. See attached before and after photos.

Pascal drove us with our car to Zuerich airport, picking us up around 6pm after a days work in and around the house and last minute travel preparations. As well as having great accommodation, we probably had the best meal of our trip in Montbeliard. It was very quiet and untouristy in the town and there didn't seem to be a lot of restaurants open. ... We wanted to get off the well beaten track and see some of the back-blocks so to speak. So we logged into Mr Google Maps on Wendy's iPhone 5 which is fitted with a local (Le French) sim. We are going to take McGoo with a grain of salt in future as he led us up the garden, or should we say rough, path for a while.
