... We have both discovered a new love for lobster! The sunsets here are phenomenal and it's a really pretty place but we struggled to find stuff to do for a day and a half in this ghost town. We even ventured further afield and went trekking in the woods where I spent an hour trying to photograph a squirrel. Holiday highlight. Everyone knows everyone here, which has always put me at unease. Next stop, hopefully some signs of life at ...

... beautiful but all the people coming in and taking pictures made it a little hard to work. The town is also very dog friendly and there were adorable puppies everywhere. I am in serious need of some animal loving as I am missing my beautiful little Lio and the wagging little tail of LouLou. The store owners even have doggy treats for the dogs that come in. So cute! Have a great day, whatever you're doing. ...

At the risk of offending the people who think it is a wonderful city, we found it a lot less sophisticated than we expected, it was quite grubby and for the most part people were rude and disinterested in giving any customer service. For a place that makes so much money from tourists it would be nice if they behaved a little better towards them.

We have come across some very strange place names on this trip but today's was exceptional - Cos ...

I had my two delicious cupcakes for breakfast, and then we walked to Hertz which was only about 10 minutes away. The queue was ridiculously long, out of the door, due to being understaffed and also due to the extra $50 charge to drop off the hire car at a different destination which Hertz don't mention on the online quote, and which caught out some of the non-English speaking customers in front of us.

      Anyway, we ...
