Another early start for the Farrs today. The vagaries of the notorious LA traffic almost scuppered our plans, though, as we got caught in a fairly substantial jam on CA91 so we arrived rather later than planned and missed out on one or two "fast pass" opportunities but, as it turned out, we didn't miss too much.

Next stop was a nearby shopping mall where we spent a few hours topping up on our store of clothes. Then on to Redondo Beach for dinner and a walk along the marina. By the time we finished our walk we were ready to head to the airport, drop off the rental car, check in our bags and wait for our flight to Guatemala in the early hours of the ...

... there were two of the fellas out nibbling away on bamboo, as well as a couple of red pandas in a next door area.  They really are cute animals.  Next on to the polar bear set up.  Well these two were out and about and getting close up to the viewing areas, so that was fantastic.  By now it was lunch time and we decided that we'd had enough of the zoo. So we left and moved on to burger joint In and Out for a speedy lunch. While on the way back to ...
