... out of the water. If you believed the locals, the water was icy cold and only for the very hardiest types with wetsuits. It turned out to be warmer than Cornish waters in late summer (although still not warm enough, in my view) so Jill and the boys were straight in with barely a wince. The waves were pretty impressive too. The lifeguard was slightly concerned about the rip so persuaded Jill and the boys to swim just in front of his tower.

We managed to have a pretty uneventful flight over to LA and even got in some sleep (yay!). After organising our bags Wayne found his shuttle and I found my bus to the train station. The next winery was Bella Vista Winery, the oldest Winery in Temecula. They have a BEAUTIFUL long, round bar that they use to serve the wine tasting.

I'm home for the summer

... to say the least. I am glad now that I got it over with and that I won't have to endure science for a full semester but in that month I absorbed so much information. It was an introduction to genetics class so it was interesting and I could somewhat apply it to my life. I would need more teaching to apply/do more with it. So it could have been worse.
