... and following a little river along the wide, flat
ridge you suddenly find yourself at the edge of a 3100 foot drop. The
river plunges off creating the second tallest waterfall in the world,
Tugela Falls. It's not a powerful current so we were able to join the
few other visitors in swimming in the pools directly above the falls.
It was spectacular! On this trip we also explored the history of the

... every now and then Rusty get's "red eyes" (literally and figuratively), this was one of those days. I was the last in line and Rusty came up wanting a fight. I smacked him but this didn't have the usual effect. He looked at me and came running - he charged me! I had to use both hands to get him away and regain my balance. This was not something I was happy about because my broken wrist caned during and afterwards. Thank god for the brace though! ...

Sightings: Kudu, Baboons, Ostrich, Red Hartebeest

Another week gone at Enkosini. It's interesting how some weeks you’re right into things and the next you just feel like a total blob and end up having a lazy week. Admittedly it didn’t help that 3 days of activities were things I couldn’t help much in because of my wrist. (A full day of walking then a camp I knew would throw it out and make it throb ...
