... I can't wait for the final between Germany and Argentina. The atmosphere will be amazing!! ~ ADRIAN We we got on the train I could already fell the excitement from all the Argentina fans. When we went through the gates we looked across and we saw a group of Argentina fans cheering there hearts out! ... we made sure we caught the Brazil Chilli match in the local bar!! It was great to see everyone in their yellow and green colours, along with their kids, grandparents and dogs!

During the five days we visited some amazing beaches, did a spot of surfing, ate like royalty and generally spoilt rotten.

Sam and Renato love to travel so decided to join us on our next stop in Paraty!

... and ball on the beach....... awesome fun, although we learned playing Brazilian beach games next to Brazilians is a bad idea if you want to impress.

A much more relaxed night at Conveis - just Mikey, Anna, Helena and myself left, and a crazy electric storm to keep us company.

... kayak and a 4 year old over board. After a dramatic rescue attempt and a few tears we were back en route - and a lot of relief when we got to the beach! The kids decided to let us take the kayaks back solo.......

Travel tip of the day: Learn how to ride / drive a kayak before transporting young children on it.
