A hike I actually enjoyed!

Big(ish) Island

to accommodate us. So we took the boat,
it seems almost axiomatic to say that the boat trip around the tropical island
was nice, but it was, so I will. It was nice.
Then, all too suddenly it was the next day and it was time
to get back on another boat – this time back to the mainland and head to Paraty.

Rain Stops Play
... it's tiny! After the first night in a very rowdy hostel we switched to a lovely jungle guesthouse with a private room and a little hammock on the balcony. When the sun doesn't shine there isn't a whole lot to on Ilha Grande... (Except drink caipirinhas - which are so strong - Turndog get buying some of that cahaca rum, I was pretty drunk off only two of them!) We spent the weekend wandering round the town, drinking caipirinhas and lazing in the hammock. ...
Sometimes life's a beach!
... a school marching/samba band practising for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations. But that's it.
So I'm sorry but for this blog entry there are no interesting facts, stories or anecdotes. Just lots of pictures of beautiful beaches and Mel and I looking happy, relaxed and tanned.
